SUMMARY:Developing GenAI-empowered Customised Workflows
DESCRIPTION:Abstract\n\n\n\n\nThis advanced-level workshop will guide participants in harnessing the potential of multimodal large language models (LLMs) to create personalised\, GenAI-driven workflows. Building on the knowledge and skills acquired from introductory-level and intermediate-level workshops\, participants will delve into practical techniques for constructing LLM-powered solutions on the LTTC LLM Studio Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform. Through hands-on activities\, participants will develop two specific workflows for teaching and learning purposes in this workshop: (1) Automated Assessment Generation: Generate cloze tests from vocabulary lists\, complete with suggested answers and explanations; (2) Handwriting Recognition and Evaluation: Process handwritten articles for text recognition and automated evaluation. In addition to technical skills\, the workshop will facilitate critical discussions on the ethical and societal implications of LLMs in education. Participants will explore the potential benefits and risks of these technologies\, enabling informed decision-making and responsible implementation.
